The Role
Our client are seeking a technical QA Automation Engineer who will play a critical role in establishing a robust test automation framework for two key projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing start-up and make a tangible impact from day one. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests to ensure the high quality and reliability of key SaaS products. You will collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and clients to define and uphold best practices in quality assurance and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Automation Framework: Design and maintain a reusable, scalable test automation framework tailored to project requirements.
- Execute Test Automation: Create automated scripts focusing on UI, API, and end-to-end testing to ensure high software quality.
- Ensure Quality & Best Practices: Establish and enforce QA best practices, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless releases.
- Defect Tracking & Performance Testing: Identify, document, and resolve bugs; conduct performance testing for scalability and stability.
- Client Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with clients to meet testing needs; mentor team members in test automation.
- Qualifications: 3+ years in QA automation, skilled in tools like Selenium/Cypress, experienced with CI/CD, APIs, Agile, and strong in communication and problem-solving.
