Software Development Engineer in Test

Search 5.0 is very proud to be exclusively partnered with a leading Tech-For-Good company in Northern Ireland that are aiming to hire a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join a greenfield engineering team. You will contribute to the development of a highly anticipated iOS mobile application designed to transform the healthcare industry. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and help enhance community health and safety by improving mobile-based medical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for iOS mobile applications, including unit, integration, UI, and functional tests.
- Work closely with the product engineering team to prioritise testing efforts and ensure application requirements are met.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify issues early in the development process and advocate for best testing practices with iOS developers.
- 2+ years of experience in an SDET or quality-focused role with experience in mobile applications.
- Strong experience with test automation, any experience building up an automated testing suite from scratch would be a big plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Xcode Cloud.
- Base Salary up to £50,000
