Job: Technology Support On-site Engineer

You will be on-site playing a critical role in supporting our clients’ trading operation and technology infrastructure. Being embedded into the client’s technology team you will ensure the smooth-running operation of the trading platform.

Your responsibilities include:

On-site Technology Support: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the client, providing on-site support for all options trading technology systems.
System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the health and performance of internal systems, ensuring that they are operating optimally. Conduct frequent maintenance activities, including software updates and configuration changes, to keep systems up to date
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues whilst escalating complex problems to appropriate internal teams.
Incident Management: Respond to incidents and service requests raised by the client, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and follow an incident management process
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders acting as a technical advisor
System Enhancements and Upgrades: Work with the development team to implement system enhancements and upgrades.
Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for the client's technical staff to enhance their understanding of the options trading systems.
 
What we’re seeking:
  • 1-2 years + experience of technology support in a client facing role preferable in Finance
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical Expertise: desirable to have specifically strong knowledge of 365, Azure, Endpoint Management, Device Deployment. AV troubleshooting.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse complex technical issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
